Thumper is an incredibly dynamic multi instumentalist and part time super hero with speeds clocked up to 4000 mph! This is a show not to miss! Some of Thumper's influences are Peter Gabriel, Seal, Level 42, Jeff Buckley and the Universe. Thumper has recently recorded a solo album entitled Average American Dad. April 10, 2008 7PM SL™ Time! Shadowplay Club & Lounge Von Johin
SL™ 's best kept secret Von the Revelator! Von Johin was born into Second Life® in july 2007, following a chance encounter with a tall elf while they were both foraging for taters and such in the local village shop that sells them things. Live acoustic flat-picking and finger-style country blues styles with songs from roots blues artist like Howlin' Wolf, Rev Gary Davis, Muddy Waters, BB King, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Hot Tuna, Willie Dixon and more! Von's RL persona has performed and recorded with members of Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna, Merl Saunders, Grateful Dead, Fleetwood Mac and a host of other aging hippy friends in his career as a guitarist, songwriter, artist, sideman and imaginary friend. A Rockin Night of Rock & Soul with Dann Numbers! The lights go down, the crowd gets up and everybody starts to sing as onto the stage steps the acoustic prophet of Rock and Soul! Dann "Numbers" Russo pours rock, blues, country, gospel and every other type of real down-home music into his performance like the sweat that pours from his brow. 3-28-08 Isle of Shadows® Concert series opened with a bang! You know a show is great when it crashes the sim!
- Thumper Boucher was at his best! An Incredible Night of Music and Particles!
- 4-11-08 Our second show of the spring concert series was on incredible night of spanking the blues away with Von Johin!
- Von Packed the Isle with Blues fans from all over. Von's guitar was catching fire for over 2 hours! The guitar was smoking and everyone was on their feet cheering for more!
