Limits & SSC - Safe, Sane & Consensual
BDSM Connections encourages the practice of SSC (Safe, sane and consensual) or RACK (Risk aware consensual kink) practices. Whether in a part time BDSM relationship or a TPE (Total Power Exchange) SSC or RACK is an integral part of any BDSM relationship.
How do you define SSC in general terms?
Safe: Both/all
participants know the risks and have minimized them to everyone's
satisfaction.
Sane: Both/all participants are capable of knowing what they are
getting into, and are capable of informed consent.
Consensual: Both/all participants consent to what is happening and
have a reasonable idea of what they are consenting to. The consent is free
and not coerced.
What are Limits?
Everyone has some type of limits or tolerances, whether it involves certain fetishes or practices, limits are important for both dominants and submissives. There are various way to communicate your limits. Whether by limit card or through verbal communication always communicate your limits and please respect the limits of others.
